Our mattresses are filled entirely with pure Eco Wool batting and covered with a durable wool textile. Each mattress is stuffed to perfection and tufted evenly throughout in order to pre-compress the mattress and to prevent the wool from shifting or lumping inside. Our wool mattress is softer than a cotton futon, but firmer than an innerspring. The longevity of our mattress will increase when placed on a slatted bed frame. Our most popular combination of items is our Regular 5” wool mattress on top of latex padded slats and paired with our 3” snuggle mate mattress topper.

We stock Coyuchi brand Organic cotton sateen sheeting. We have fitted sheets, flat sheets, duvet covers and pillow cases available in sateen ivory. We can also order any of the colors Coyuchi offers or the other fabric options such as flannel, percale or cotton/linen blends. Purchasing organic cotton sheeting is supporting small farmers who are committed to sustainable growing practices that exclude the use of harmful chemical sprays.

Our wood slatted frames are made out of solid, clear Fir wood and crafted by highly skilled woodworkers. Our frames are especially designed to accommodate our wool mattresses. These frames can be ordered with wood slats or with latex padded slats for a softer bed. We also make a custom box insert that can add a breathable, slatted surface to any frame. Our frames are preserved with a non-toxic when dry, Tung oil based finish for protection and to bring out the natural warm tones of the wood.

Latex padded slats or to order
All our frames are designed so that the slats can set down into the frame 2” to allow for latex to be added to the slats. Many people find that the wool mattress on a slatted frame is firmer than they would like, this is why we have come up with this solution. Just 2” of latex adds a substantial amount of cushion to the foundation without compromising the breathability of the wool bed. We also make organic cotton covers to protect our latex padded slats to create a quality, finished look.
